Far-Right Party Finished in First on 2023 Netherlands Election: How it'll effect the EU and Netherlands?

Yesterday, Netherlands had an election. It has a suprising outcome. Far right, Geert Wilders's party PVV has suprisingly came first (%23,6). Green Left(GL) and Labour Party(PvdA) alliance(GL/PvdA) came second, %15,5. Their leader is Timmermans, former EU bureaucrat. VVD, Rutte's party who is the prime minister of the Netherlands for 15 years, came third, %15,2. Their leader is Yeşilgöz who is Turkiye-born immigrant. NSC, which is founded by ex-VVD member and ex-welfare minister Omtzigt, who resigned after welfare scandal. His party got 12,8 percent of vote. How it will effect the Netherlands and the EU?

Effects to the Netherlands and the EU

After Wilders's victory intensifies, far-right leaders all over the Europe congratulated him and his party PVV. In France, main opposition RN leader Le Pen, German far right party AfD and other far right parties and figures congratulated him. For PVV, immigration is needs to be curtailed. They're anti-EU, have xenophobic goals. It's a part of rising of the far-right in Europe and US. It's a success for Wilders, "who is shocked" for the results. But for their goals, they need to form a coalition. They have 37 seat, for a majority, they need 76 seats. GL/PvdA, VVD and NSC said they will not enter a coalition under Wilders. But it'll effect Netherlands. Other parties will gather PVV's promises to their own promises. It'll effect the EU. This will encourage other far-right parties in Europe. EU will get close to far-rightists ambitions. EU will be more decentralised (switching power of the EU to the nation states). Maybe EU will be no longer have the goal of curtailing climate change-a scientific truth.

Outcome

The people don't vote to the mainstream parties because neoliberal policies hurted them. Only centre-left and maybe centre-right can stop them, but they needs plans for lowering immigration without xenophobia and more inclusive welfare policies. The parties needed Climate transition policies without effecting people's welfare. Copying far-right will not help centre-right.

Subjectivity: Sending Soldiers to Ukraine-Will it Help Them?

Ukraine lost some towns and villages to the Russians after the US House of Representatives did not approve the budget that included military aid to Ukraine. Ukraine is running out of military equipment day by day. European countries are sending some military aid to Ukraine, but it's not enough to liberate the Russian-occupied territories. Both sides are maintaining the status quo on the battlefield. And in the US elections in November, Donald Trump, the isolationist ex-president of the US, may win. If he wins, he has said he will not support Ukraine and will "stop the war on day one". The latest developments on the battlefield are slightly negative for Ukraine and slightly positive for Russia. Then French President Macron said that they could send soldiers to Ukraine to help them. But will sending soldiers help Ukraine? The latest developments in battlefield (Click to see). The technological status of an army is more important than manpower in modern times. Russia has m...

Subjectivity: Are Cop 28 Climate Summit's Final Agreement Effective?

Reasons of the climate change. COP 28 summit is over. But it's not effective  for curtailing climate change. Why? Let's see.  I'm not going to write summit start to end. To summarize, It has started with too many scandals, although some improvement achieved. 100 states has supported phasing out fossil fuels, fossil fuel firstly agreed as a source of climate change first time in final agreement in COP summits. But I don't think this is enough. Firstly, I's been used and it'll continued to use by petrol states and petrol companies for greenwashing. Secondly, It's only advisory. Some agreements can be reached between states, but they are not checked whether compliance is made or not and no punishment for violator states. There is need a check mechanism for countries, to control they are doing what they have promised. Third problem is the final agreement negotiations. Only one country can stop final agreement negotiations for their own ambitions. Also, the ...
